Sabrina Mackay, BVetMed

Dr. Sabrina Mackay grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, before moving to Massachusetts during high school. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science on the pre-veterinary track from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and went on to attend the Royal Veterinary College in London, where she graduated in 2026.

Sabrina enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and preventative care. During veterinary school, she had the opportunity to return to South Africa to participate in a wildlife conservation program, where she worked alongside wildlife veterinarians and cared for some incredible animals, including elephants, lions, rhinos, and zebras.

Outside of the clinic, Sabrina loves traveling and has visited around 25 countries. She also enjoys swimming and baking. At home, she has two cats who keep her busy and remind her why she loves working with animals every day.
